SEA OFFERING - Cilacap Regency
Traditional event which is annually held by fisherman community at Sidakaya, Donan, Sentolo, Kawat, Lengkong and Tegal Katilayu Villages in Cilacap regency either those wishing to earn better living or those beseeching success in any efforts in the year to come. This Sea Offering is annually held on Tuesday kliwon of Friday kliwon in Sura Month (Javanese Calendar), heat means on February 22nd, 2005 or March 4th, 2005. The event is marked by drifting the offering off shore Karang Bandung Village in the southern part of Nusakambangan Island.
The climax of the event when the offerings (The "Jolen") are brought in a procession starting from the Cilacap Regent's Residence to Pandanarang at the beach of Teluk Penyu.
To liven the event, various art performances are held, joining the procession. The "Jolen" are transferred to colorfully decorated boat followed in its wake by many others, to be drifted off shore a small island of Majeti. The sea offering ceremony is ended up in the evening, with traditional art performance held in the fisher villages.

SEKATEN FAIR - Surakarta Municipality
It is the traditional fair held annually in coincidence with the Islamic month of Rabiul Awal (Arabic calendar) or maulud (Javanese calendar) to commemorate the birthday of the prophet Muhammad. The fair takes place at Alun-alun Utara (The Kasunanan Palace's north square) and opens for visitors day and night. It exhibits a lot of tourist attractions, such as traditional food and handicraft toy, etc. The opening ceremony of fair is marked with the procession of the Royal Family to carry the two huge sets of sacred Gamelans from the Sunan Palace to the great Mosque at the north square for playing. The Sekaten fair is concluded with the "Grebeg Maulud".

MALEMAN SRIWEDARI/THE SELIKURAN EVE - Surakarta Municipality
It is a "Night Fair" which is traditionally held at the Sriwedari Park to commemoration The "Nuzulul Qur'an'', the time when the Holy Qur'an was first releaved to the Prophet Muhammad on the month of Ramadhan (Islamic calendar). The highlight of the fair goes on the eve 21st day Ramadhan or November 15, 2005 with the procession of The Royal Family, starting from the Kasunanan Palace and ends in The Sriwedari Park at 6 pm to 8 p.m. The fair is livened up with local art performance as well as handicraft product exhibition.
