How to get to Central Java


AIR ROUTES
Central Java Provinces has 2 (two) big airports connecting with all major cities in the country on either direct of interconnection flight, the first is Achmad Yani International Airport in Semarang, such as Mandala, Bouraq, Merpati, Deraya, and Garuda, and the rest is Adi Sumarmo International Airport in Surakarta or Solo and served by Garuda. International carrier "Silk Air" also flies to Surakarta from Singapore, VV, four times and a week.

In addition to the two airport, there is Tunggul Wulung Airport of Cilacap which has direct flight to Jakarta.

SEA ROUTES
Tanjung Emas Seaport in Semarang  on the north coast and  Tanjung Intan Seaport in Cilacap on the south coast are major seaports which most of them served by PELNI, a government shipping company.


LAND ROUTES BY TRAIN
The northern lane track  connects Jakarta-Semarang-Surabaya  and  southern lane track  connects Jakarta-Bandung-Purwokerto-Yogyakarta-Surakarta-Surabaya.

The train fare is various depending on the category or class. Economic class will include Tawang Jaya, Tawang Mas, Kertajaya and  Brantas. Senja Utama & Fajar Utama are the second class and  Argo Bromo, Argo Muria, Sembrani, Kamandanu, Argo are executive class of course with more expensive.
